We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated and experienced Division Manager – Sales Operations to lead and inspire our Sales teams to drive sales growth through effective sales, profit margin management and penetration excellence. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Division Manager – Sales Operations holds a critical senior position in our organization, with responsibility for driving Sales across assigned Divisions to exceed targets.
Duties will include:
- The development and management of a strategic plan to drive organic growth, maximize product opportunities and other growth initiatives in line with the company’s overall strategic plan.
- The design, implementation and monitoring of agreed sales strategies to ensure maximum sales, profitability and return on investment.
- Leading, mentoring and motivating, dynamic, result oriented sales teams in the Modern Trade, Retail and Traditional Trade Sales channels to maximize results.
- Collaborating with marketing teams to align sales and marketing strategies.
- Ensuring the achievement of the budgeted margins and P&L for assigned Divisions.
- Analyzing sales trends, competitive activity and provide reports.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Business Administration or related discipline.
- A minimum of ten (10) years’ sales experience with at least five (5) of these spent managing a sales team, merchandising team or equivalent.
- Demonstrable experience in leading and developing teams with proven results.
- Strong presentation skills, with the ability to utilise MS Office suite of applications.
- Effective interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, proficient in being influential & persuasive.
- Strong analytical abilities with proven problem-solving capabilities to reach sound decision making.
- Deadline driven with excellent time management, planning and organisational skills.
- Flexible with tenacity, high-energy and self-motivation.
- Excellent customer service skills.
