We are seeking to recruit a commercially focused and self-motivated individual to join our Finance team as Credit Supervisor.
Duties will include:
- Manage the Company’s accounts receivable functions.
- Ensure proper internal controls are developed, implemented and monitored.
- Lead, manage and train team members.
- Lead the credit control function, ensuring that agreed credit terms and limits are maintained by customers.
- Ensure the collection of money and reduction of overdue debtor accounts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers. Visiting clients as required.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
- At least three (3) years’ experience at supervisory level in receivables and/or other Accounting functions
- Completed or partial completion of the ACCA, CGA or equivalent programme
- Experience of leading and managing a team
- Computer literate with a working knowledge of accounting packages, Microsoft Excel and Word. Working knowledge of SAP would be an advantage
- Possess excellent negotiating, analytical and numerical skills with the commercial awareness to identify key indicators and turn them into operational reality
- Diplomatic with excellent interpersonal skills to facilitate communication both written and oral with business partners, customers and staff
- Highly organised and deadline driven with excellent time management skills
