Career Opportunity – Fleet & Equipment Coordinator
Hanschell Inniss Limited is seeking to recruit a Fleet & Equipment Coordinator. The successful candidate will manage the fleet of vehicles and assigned equipment. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact between the Company and service providers.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Ensure the Company’s fleet are well maintained and managed to maximize safety and efficiency and eliminate downtime or potential loss of sales or use.
Provide guidance and support on maintenance of company equipment.
Prepare and schedule an annual program for servicing, inspection and valuation for all vehicles and equipment is prepared and scheduled.
The preventative maintenance schedule prepared and is followed.
Ensure upkeep and distribution of fuel at Company’s on-site facility
The ideal candidate should possess:
A diploma or associate degree in a technical subject e.g. mechanics or related discipline
Proficiency in the technical functioning of vehicles and equipment
A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a similar capacity with responsibility for overall supervision of function
A heavy goods license
A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in repairing heavy goods vehicles
Possess a good knowledge of vehicle parts and their functions
Good planning, prioritisation and organization skills with well-defined systems of monitoring and follow-up
Superior negotiation skills
Strong computer literacy skills
