Hanschell Inniss Limited is seeking to recruit an energetic, customer-centric, talented individual to be its Food Service Manager.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and implementation of growth and expansion sales strategies in the Food Service Division.
Duties will include:
- Leading the Food Service team in the attainment of the company’s strategic objectives for the Division through effective leadership techniques, including coaching, setting of measurable KPIs, training and employee development initiatives, and the provision of general direction to ensure success
- Developing and monitoring Divisional budgets and sales targets
- Identifying new business opportunities and investigating additions to the product portfolio
- Improving customer service experience by taking ownership of customers’ issues and following problems through to resolution
- Building and maintaining a positive, energetic culture
- Functioning as a primary liaison for assigned accounts
- Negotiation of pricing and preparation of food costings
- Sourcing of product information from suppliers for new and existing orders
- Overseeing corporate marketing initiatives, including sourcing and costing items for sale, assisting in the promotion of initiatives, and overseeing the delivery process
Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
- Have a degree or diploma in Management, Sales & Marketing or other related discipline; and a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in the Food and Beverage/Food Service industry
- Have at least two (2) years’ experience at a supervisory level
- Be highly-skilled in planning, organizing, prioritizing, delegating, and supervising
- Think strategically and lead a team to success
- Be able to work in a fast paced setting with ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Have outstanding oral and written communication and people skills
- Have excellent customer service orientation with a good working knowledge of the food service sector
- Have superior problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
- Have strong negotiation, analytical and numerical skills
- High proficiency in the use of MS Office Suite
