We are seeking to recruit an energetic, customer-centric, talented individual to be our Retail Manager.
Duties will include:
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the growth and development of brands through the effective sales and merchandising management of the portfolio.
Duties include:
- Maximizing the distribution and sales for all products throughout the retail environment.
- Analyzing sales trends, competitive activity and reporting on results.
- Coordinating the output of the sales teams to maximize distribution, sales, and gross and net profit.
- Creating and executing sales strategies in collaboration with the marketing team.
- Executing the trade marketing strategy across all relevant areas.
- Driving visual merchandising excellence across various categories and products in all relevant areas.
- Leading the Retail team in the attainment of the company’s strategic objectives through effective leadership techniques.
- Identifying and managing new business opportunities with select accounts.
- Improving customer service experience by taking ownership of customer issues and following problems through to resolution.
- Building and maintaining a positive, energetic culture.
The ideal candidate must:
- Have a degree or diploma in Management, Sales & Marketing or other related discipline; and a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a Sales position.
- Have at least two (2) years’ experience at a supervisory level.
- Be highly-skilled in planning, organizing, prioritizing, delegating, and supervising
- Think strategically and lead a team to success.
- Be able to work in a fast-paced setting with ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Have outstanding oral and written communication and people skills.
- Have excellent customer service orientation with a passion for excellence together with a good working knowledge of the retail sector.
- Have superior problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Have strong negotiation, analytical and numerical skills.
- High proficiency in the use of MS Office Suite.
